We have designed and developed the customs-report program Tollrad. That program
enjoys a large marketshare on Iceland, mainly due to its ease of use and
graphical interface.
It facilitates and assists in the process of filing customs reports and has
several advanced features, including support for paperless transactions and
up-to-date calculations for every category of goods.
To date over 100 companies are using Tollrad in their daily business. Users
include the Custom office of Iceland and the supplyer for the NATO base in
Keflavik. The program is also used for educational purposes at the Icelandic
Computer School and the Reykjavik Computer school.
The program was written in
Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 (Professional Edition) & Microsoft Visual Basic
6.0 (Enterprise Edition).
for the National bank of Iceland. That program has been distributed to over
5000 homes.
